Exciting opportunities to become clinical tutor Sonographers

Become a clinical tutor sonographer with The Australian School of Medical Imaging and work in a focused educational and clinical role and join Australia’s leading Sonography faculty.

These opportunities are located on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Gold Coast. offering a varied, challenging and interesting role which includes:

  • Supervision and on-site support of trainees within clinical settings at dedicated ASMI training sites across Australia
  • Performance of some Ultrasound examinations to maintain clinical currency and support training.
  • Option to participate in Ultrasound seminars and programs on campus

These positions will suit accredited Sonographers with an interest in education and a desire to work with leading Sonographers in a family friendly and rewarding work environment. You will have tremendous opportunity to be further trained and raise your own standards where desired.

Trainee Sonographer

The Australian School of Medical Imaging (ASMI) is offering several exciting and unique career opportunities via structured training positions in medical ultrasound.

This is in collaboration with prominent radiology providers currently requiring new trainees, covering most states and territories across Australia.

We are seeking self motivated and committed medical radiation technologists or allied health professionals (registered nurses, biomedical science graduates etc) with relevant employment or clinical history to fill these supported and full time training positions.

The successful candidates will enter into a strong training environment which will guide them to becoming Accredited Medical Sonographers over a total 2 year period.

The successful applicants will be required to:

  • Complete the 14 week ASMI Residential Program, based in Sydney.
  • Make an initial financial commitment toward the costs of the program
  • Agree to a minimum tenure post qualification with their training provider.
