ASMI SEMINAR Series The Australian School of Medical Imaging (ASMI) is delighted to announce NEW program additions to our seminar series. ASMI seminars are an excellent opportunity to provide focused training for sonographers of all skill levels, including trainees. These seminars are a wonderful opportunity for sonographers to enhance their skills with intensive hands-on practical tuition. All ASMI seminars are aimed at delivering real competency and are not simply a series of ultrasound demonstrations to a large audience. This year we are offering multiple courses in: Introductory and Advanced Sonography Seminars for Emergency Departments ASMI 2010 Seminar and event calendar for Clinicians Introductory and Advanced Musculoskeletal Sonography seminars Introductory and Advanced Vascular ultrasound seminars Ultrasound Physics and Instrumentation Attendees for ASMI seminars will gain significant CPD credit points with ASAR recognition (at least 6 points per day). Models will be provided for teaching and scanning practice during these seminars Each workshop will comprise of only a small number of registrants (6 maximum) with full access to ultrasound systems (maximum 2 per system), tutors and educators such as Dr John Read & Mr Stephen Bird in order to enable comprehensive tuition. The ASMI faculty for each workshop contains some of the most experienced sonographers in the industry.
