MSK Ultrasound and MRI Correlation Event
(3rd-4th July 2010)

"Thankyou to Rob McGregor and the ASMI team for a great weekend workshop and seminar on Advanced Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. There was a superb demonstration of teaching and advanced ultrasound on display for Canberra Imaging Group's benefit. Our sonographers and radiologists all took away new concepts and skills.

The interaction between Stephen Bird, John Read and all participants was productive and stimulating. They were able to demonstrate at a very practical level (with live scanning) what is achievable with carefully performed and targeted MSK ultrasound. The effects were noted throughout our practice from the very next day. Our doctors and sonographers now have a common MSK reference and have been able to support each other much more effectively as a result."

“I found the weekend seminar very interesting and I believe that I will be able to apply what I've learned.  The content was not significantly different to what I've learned at various conferences however, the invaluable extra factor for this seminar was that several of the reporting doctors were there, listening to the same information.  Usually the sonographers return to the workplace with new information & enthusiasm, only to find the doctors somewhat dismissive.  Now we have common ground.  This has already been noticeable the day after the seminar.”
