Musculoskeletal Intervention, Scanning and Interpretation for
Rehabilitation Physicians (13th-15th August 2010)

"Just wanted to say thanks for organising a superb MSK US course for Rehab Physicians last weekend. I don't think I have learnt or been exposed to so many new things in just 3 days for a long long time.  I really appreciated you guys catering to our questions about unusual muscles/nerves of interest and learning clinical tips about needle placement. Facilities, food, handouts were excellent. It was good to be able to try out different types of machines and practice on models/phantoms.

The format was very effective for my learning, i.e. view some slides and listen to Stephen or Rob, then breaking up into a few groups to see/do on the machines. I've done a couple of US guided injections this week and found that I'm identifying structures better, using the probe to find the structures more quickly, with improved needle targeting.”

“Prior to the course I was very nervous as I have not used an ultrasound machine before, but within the first 3 hours of the course, I felt my anxiety subsiding as the staffs were able to tailor the course to the various levels of experience within the group. Faculty ensures that the basics and essentials are mastered prior to advancing. Excellent instructors!” Roslyn M., Staff Specialist Rehabilitation Medicine

“I left with confidence in using ultrasound guidance for injections.”

“It helped me a lot to identify the sonological anatomy and apply the knowledge in my clinical practice.”
